I had always known I would have a career in health. From memories of ‘helping’ my grandmother on her district nursing rounds, to setting up Emergency departments with reception desks in my bedroom.
My chosen health profession required both high attention to detail and care and compassion for those experiencing life threatening illness. It is this carefully balanced combination which after many years of working clinically enabled me to develop a unique approach to health service management and team leadership.
It was during my training and professional development that I developed a greater understanding of the concept of ‘client centred care’ which gave me the ‘why’ that I still believe in today..
To provide care for patients (and their families) in ways that are meaningful and valuable to the individual
My later health administration roles always put the client at the centre of decision making and process development, whilst addressing the needs of the organisation, employees and broader community.
Virtual Clinic Assist brings together that wealth of experience into my own bespoke business venture. We provide solo practitioners and small health related businesses, the opportunity to gain confidence in running the administration side of their business, either working autonomously in a more streamlined way or understanding how to delegate aspects of their ever increasing administration workload. This enables them to put more focus on client care and the delivery of top quality clinical interactions….each and every time.
Virtual Clinic Assist provides the opportunity for a fresh perspective on an administrative challenge and a cost effective solution to complete quality improvement activities or new program implementation.
We provide the tools for clinicians and new virtual health administrators to refine their health administration skills and build confidence in their ability to deliver high quality client centred care.
